Looking for some healthy and wholesome snacks for your canine friend? You've come to the right place.
All of the following dog biscuit recipes are cheap, healthy and simple to prepare. And most importantly your dog will love em'!
1/2 cup dry milk
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 Tbsp. honey
3 oz. pureed liver
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine all ingredients until soft dough forms. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Form dough into balls and flatten with a fork. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cookies will remain soft, and can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
Substitute pureed chicken, beef, or fish, if desired.
1 lb. stew beef
Cut meat into half inch cubes. Place on a parchment-paper-covered cookie sheet and put into a cold oven. Heat to 300 degrees F, and bake for 1 hour. Reduce the oven temperature to 210 degrees F, leaving the oven door ajar, for 2 hours. These dried treats may be kept, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
1 lb. liver
2 cups beef or chicken broth
1 lb. plain yogurt
Cook liver in broth until tender. Drain and reserve broth. Mix liver thoroughly in a blender or food processor with the yogurt. Add left-over broth if consistency is too thick. Use as doggie vegetable dip, or to stuff Kongs.

1 cup oatmeal
1 cup corn meal
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 small can tuna in oil, undrained
1/3 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grind oatmeal in food processor until it's a fine powder. Remove from processor and do the same with the tuna and oil. Combine all ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Knead for 3 minutes (dough will be soft). Roll out on lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thick and use a drinking glass or cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Arrange on lightly oiled cookie sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool and store in an airtight container. *This is one of my all time favorite dog biscuit recipes.

Grease a cookie sheet, arrange the cookies on it, and bake for 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and store tightly covered.
1 cup water
1 cup chicken or beef broth (low or no sodium)
