Yorkshire Terrier

Yorkies are little dogs packed with energy and courage. They are highly oblivious to their small size and often take on bigger dogs. They are very affectionate with the human members of the pack but they need a pack leader who can dominate them. If they fail to see a dominant person, they can take over the household and develop aggressive tendencies. Yorkies are very active indoors. They are well-suited to apartment living as they are highly sensitive to cold climates. Although they thrive well indoors, they need their daily exercise to provide an outlet for their pent-up energies.
